Description:

Mustard Seed comes from two large shrubs, native to Asia. Both plants produce bright yellow flowers that contain small round seeds;brown mustard is more pungent than white. Powdered Mustard has no aroma when dry, but a hot flavour is released when it is mixed with water. Powdered Mustard has no aroma when dry, but a hot flavour is released when it is mixed with water.

Types:

The basic types of mustard are:

  1. Black Mustard: is a round hard seed, varying in colour from dark brown to black, and has a pungent odour and taste.

  2. Brown / Yellow Mustard: is similar in size to the black variety and vary in colour from light to dark brown. It is less pungent than the black.

Packing:

Mustard seeds are packed in 15 kg or 25 kg (net) polypropylene bags.

All markings as per buyer specifications.

Volume:

Mustard seeds are generally shipped in a 20 ft. F.C.L. approximately 21.75 M. tons can be shipped in a full container load.

Precautions:

Hot water and vinegar should be kept away as they can easily kill the taste of mustard.
